Terms and Conditions
Product Inspection & Acceptance
- All goods purchased from BDKSUPPLY must be checked before installation.
- You are required to open and inspect all items as soon as you receive them (on pick up or delivery) and report any issues to us within 24 hours via email at [your email here].
- Issues may include (but are not limited to): wrong item supplied, wrong size, visible damage, or obvious manufacturing defects.
- We take no responsibility for items found to be damaged, defective, or incorrect after installation. Please ensure everything is checked and confirmed prior to installation.
Warranty
- Most products supplied by BDKSUPPLY come with a manufacturer’s warranty, generally ranging from 1–10 years (conditions apply and vary by product/brand).
- Please contact us if you require specific warranty details for a particular item.
- All items must be installed by a licensed plumber or qualified tradesperson in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, plumbing codes and manufacturer installation instructions.
- Failure to use a licensed tradesperson may result in voiding the warranty.
Non-Chrome Finishes
- Unless otherwise stated, the warranty on non-chrome finishes (e.g. brushed nickel, matte black, brushed gold, etc.) is 2 years from the date of purchase by the original purchaser (conditions apply).
Assessment & Restocking Fee
- If goods returned under warranty are found not to be defective (for example, incorrect installation, misuse, or no fault found), BDKSUPPLY reserves the right to:
- Seek reimbursement of any postage, freight or retrieval costs incurred, and
- Charge a restocking/handling fee of 25% of the purchase price of the item.
Exclusions
Warranty will not apply where damage or defects are caused by (including but not limited to):
- Deliberate or negligent misuse or abuse
- Physical alteration, tampering or unauthorised repairs
- Incorrect installation or failure to follow installation instructions
- Use of harsh or improper cleaning agents
- Normal wear and tear
Warranty Claim Process
All warranty claims must be directed through BDKSUPPLY Customer Service.
Please do not return or post items back to us before receiving instructions from our team – if you do, there is a risk that the item may not be identifiable and your claim may not be accepted.
To make a warranty claim, please be prepared to provide:
- Details of the defect or damage
- Photographic evidence of the defect or damage (where applicable)
- Your invoice number or proof of purchase
- Any other information we reasonably require to assess the claim
If you are entitled to make a claim under warranty:
- Customer Service will provide instructions on how the goods are to be returned.
- For approved claims, standard return postage may be reimbursed, or for larger items, we may arrange a courier collection (at our discretion and subject to supplier/manufacturer processes).
- Unless otherwise required by law, any other costs incurred in making a claim (such as plumber call-out fees, removal/re-installation costs, or damage to surrounding surfaces) will be at your expense.
Change of Mind Returns
Where we agree to accept a return for change of mind or incorrect ordering (not due to defect):
- The customer is responsible for all postage/courier costs to return the goods.
- A 25% restocking/handling fee will be applied to all returned goods.
- Returned goods must:
- Be in original, unopened and resalable condition
- Include all original factory packaging, fittings and accessories
- Include proof of purchase
- Change of mind returns must be made within 30 days of the purchase date.
- All goods are inspected on return before any refund or exchange is processed.
Non-Returnable / Non-Exchange Items
Under no circumstances will returns, refunds or exchanges be offered on:
- Discontinued or clearance items
- Special non-stocked items ordered in specifically for you
- Custom-made or made-to-order products (e.g. spa baths, stone tops, custom vanities, custom finishes, heated towel rails made to order, etc.)
- Any item that has been installed, used, or is not in original resale condition (unless required by law for a genuine defect).
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You may have additional statutory rights that apply in addition to any manufacturer’s warranty.
